Not (only) PR.
Press releases, media lists, reports at the end of the month are all part of the job, but not the core. The core is deciding what deserves attention in the first place, and building the case for it before anyone else sees it coming.
I don't treat PR as a discipline that stands on its own, because it doesn't anymore. It only works at the intersection of strategy and creativity: strategy to know what should be said, creativity to know how to say it. PR is what gets it to the people who need to hear it, landing the way it's meant to.
And landing doesn't stop at a headline. Sometimes the story is a press moment. Sometimes it's an event, a consumer experience or a collaboration between brands. Same intent, same judgment, just a different room to say it in.
There are still things an algorithm can't deliver. It doesn't have taste. It can tell you what's trending, but not whether you should touch it, why it matters, or what it will mean for a brand six months from now. That judgment is the job. And that's the job I do instead.
